Project Chota Suruk: creating a new Awake & Shine Primary School

A lot has been happening at Chota Suruk  since March 2018. In phase 1, We have finished the building for the Nursery class room with toilets, staff room and resource room. Lawns and garden has been laid out.  It has been an exciting time for me. Learning on the job, and working with the team of masons, carpenters, tile layers and laborer’s from this remote village. There is so much talent, goodwill and desire to educate their children, that we managed to plan, design, and construct without seeking help from outside the village to complete   phase 1, well ahead of time
